Heartstrings asks the viewer to examine their own heartfelt connections. By looking at them through multiple lenses, they can be seen in varying lights and colors, and some may even need to be severed!

What makes it mixed media? Sparkling red and gold wires representing arteries are suspended above the heart by a small canvas that protrudes above the scissors.
